At present we have a family in a tent on a friends front yard, another homeless lady in hospital because of the disgusting condition she had to live in on the riverbank, and it's raining..cold and miserable out there, it goes on.. so many empty houses and blocks of units about... shame australia shame... The elderly and the disabled live on a tight budget, and even if they have a roof over their heads it all has to be paid for, sometimes the pension just doesn’t stretch enough and some of these people go without food over days before next payment. Whether they have an income or not, it’s hard to get back up on top when your backside is dragging on the ground….anyone needs up to $3000 to move into an empty rented premises. Then there are those that have no income or very little, due to the breakup of a marriage and feel there is no way out of their present predicament… ......these people need immediate help. If you find things overwhelming and can't see an immediate way out feel free to drop in or give us a call. WE COVER CABOOLTURE,
